Today I met my father for the first time. I think we both freaked out a little beforehand and I ended up being an hour late. But better late than never I guess. He seems like a lovely man, he seems gentle and kind. I also met my two gorgeous brothers, I really liked them and we laughed and joked easily. They made me feel really comfortable and I enjoyed the afternoon. I am really looking forward to getting to know them all but especially my father. He is in Brisbane for a month so hopefully we will spend some time together. He and his wife live on Thursday Island, I have a sister who lives with them but she didn't make it down for this trip. Meeting her is something I get to do in the New Year, although I'm sure we will get along, she loves reading!
